I am looking at some RTX wheels that are exactly what I want but they have a load capacity of 1367 LBS. That seems kind of low. Is that sufficient for my Mav. The front GAWR is 2680 and the rear is 2765. My understanding is that both wheels should be at least as much as the rear GAWR, but it is only 2734. 31 lbs less, Wondering if slightly lower is a problem. I don't understand why they would make wheels for the Mav with an insufficient load capacity.

Great question Tony and industry standard is that the wheels need to be a least half of the heaviest GAWR.

In this instance 2,765, lbs so the wheels need to have a minimum load carrying capacity of 1,382.5 lbs (1,383 lbs rounded up).

EX:

1,383x2 = 2,766 lbs.

Hello,
thanks for your response. I was going to purchase these through Discount since the website indicated they were compatible with my Maverick, but then I noticed the low load capacity.

Thank you for giving us a look, Tony!

I pulled our data sheets and we're showing 2,680 front and rear for the GAWR for your XL Hybrid FWD. so that wheel would work. Is it possible to snap a picture of the placard to confirm that is the case for the GAWR?

Thank you for taking the time to snap that for us! I'll send this over to our fitment team right now.

With that being the case, the Concord falls just slightly short for the load. Let me do some digging to see if there are some comparable options that will work for you.
