My all time favorite "worst driver" happened in Boston some 53 years ago but I remember it well. Had the wife and 3 kiddies in the wayback of my '68 Ford Country Sedan, heading towards Salem on Rt 3 N in Boston and had to dynamite the brakes in the fast lane because of a stopped car. No breakdown, just a lady waiting for the 2 outside lanes to clear so she could use the offramp.

  • Mississippi has the highest number of fatal car accidents per capita, with 25.4 per 100,000 people.
  • Wyoming has the most fatal car accidents per capita, with 24.6 per 100,000 people.
I must be missing something since these are both saying the same thing.

California "Silicon Valley" Tesla drivers that somehow got their license and think they can hide behind a "Student Driver" sticker as they almost hit pedestrians and run stop signs one after the other like lemmings.

As a "native" Idahoan, I know our reputation of poor driving is likely deserved, but we NEVER had the kinds of issues in the past that we do now (since we have been "discovered" by disgruntled Californians and other migrants from expensive cost-of-living states). We rarely had 30 mph over-the-limit drivers weaving between freeway lanes and cutting off drivers before the influx of "foreigners." I think they are amazed that we aren't bumper-to-bumper 24/7 on our highways and can't handle the freedom. It's sad to see our beautiful state urbanized and disrespected, but I suppose that's the cost of "progress." On the plus side, our 20 and 30 mph curves are REAL in the mountains, and plenty of out-of-staters are meeting their doom at the bottom of our rivers for not respecting that. :)
