Washed and waxed …. Brand new Mav

Washed and waxed ….. new 2023 Mav Lariat Lux Hybrid picked up last week. Cactus Grey was a dealer inventory that we luckily happened upon at the right time just as it arrived. Ford installed tri-fold bed cover and third party sprayed on bed liner. Could not be happier!! We have 180 miles on Mav with 40mpg and still climbing! Traded in a 2003 Ranger Edge that was still working like a beast with 100k miles after 20 years. I take good care of my “toys.” Excited to drive Mav every day.

That’s how I got mine. There were 3 on the lot, 2 used and one new. The used ‘23 Mav I bought had 666 miles at signing and couldn’t be happier with it. It had AWD, SIBL, Pilot-360, BAP, trailer hitch in Cyber Orange. That was in April of 23 and have added quite a few upgrades. Here's some pics. I went with a retractable bed cover. Had the windows tinted. The last and latest addition was the fender flares from Mabett found on Amazon. It's been fun customizing it on both the inside and outside. So, enjoy!

Hi Ford, can you please tell me why you are building Mavericks for dealer stock and not concentrating on customers who actually want to buy a vehicle exactly the way they want. Dealers I understand are important to you but if those dealers don't have happy customers then there won't be any need for dealers.

Wife and I went shopping on a lark and spied the Mav at the edge of the dealer lot, manufactured 10/23, just arrived and wasn’t even listed in their inventory yet. Dealer just sold 6 Mavs in the last week and could not keep them on their lot. They are still real scarce around here. It was well appointed and the timing was just dumb luck. We love the color and the way it makes the black trim pop. It has even more options than we were looking for, including the tonneau cover, and the price was right. I feel like we won a lotto finding this given some of the wait times folks are experiencing.

Same thing happened to me. I was browsing nearby dealers and found a loaded 2023 Lariat FX4 . The original buyer had to cancel at the last minute . I like you was at the right place at the right time . Mine is Shadow Black with Ziebart Diamond Gloss paint protection . WE love it .

The expertise on this forum is impressive. Was more curious about the OEM mudflaps and the rubbing issue. Does the rubbing damage the paint down to the primer or beyond to bare metal? I may address this with the dealer. Thanks for your thoughts.
