Washed and waxed ….. new 2023 Mav Lariat Lux Hybrid picked up last week. Cactus Grey was a dealer inventory that we luckily happened upon at the right time just as it arrived. Ford installed tri-fold bed cover and third party sprayed on bed liner. Could not be happier!! We have 180 miles on Mav with 40mpg and still climbing! Traded in a 2003 Ranger Edge that was still working like a beast with 100k miles after 20 years. I take good care of my “toys.” Excited to drive Mav every day.

Wife and I went shopping on a lark and spied the Mav at the edge of the dealer lot, manufactured 10/23, just arrived and wasn’t even listed in their inventory yet. Dealer just sold 6 Mavs in the last week and could not keep them on their lot. They are still real scarce around here. It was well appointed and the timing was just dumb luck. We love the color and the way it makes the black trim pop. It has even more options than we were looking for, including the tonneau cover, and the price was right. I feel like we won a lotto finding this given some of the wait times folks are experiencing.

Congrats looks real nice. I'll be giving ours a full decontamination and detail followed by ceramic wax when it arrives early next week. Supposed to be delivered to dealer on Saturday. I also keep my cars a long time. Still driving a like new 2004 Ford Excursion PSD 4x4 we purchased new in Feb of that year. One of our 2015 Honda Accord hybrids will be sold or traded so the 24 Lariat Hybrid Mav has a place in our garage.

Looks nice. Was the window sticker green or blue?

Be aware that there is an issue with the OEM mud flaps. They can eventually rub the paint off, where they stick out and wrap around the exterior of the fender. Might want to put some PPF between the flap and the paint. You can find more about it with a forum search.

Interesting. Blue would in fact, be a dealer stock order. Shame they're filling stock orders over customer orders for Hybrid - if the current constraints thread still showing Hybrid shortages is correct.

VERY NICE !! So tell me what brand of cover is that ? and do the mud flaps really help or are they all just a nice looking add on. ???? Thanks for your comments

The cover is factory installed with the Ford emblem. Mudflaps are nice but I’m not convinced that they are totally functional against splash-ups or tire debris in my experience on several different cars/trucks. Nevertheless, I feel better having them.

In my experience, living at the end of a gravel road with several mud holes along the way, they help a great deal in keeping dirt/mud off the sides of the truck. The OEMs have been known to rub through the paint on the part of the flap that touches the exterior of the fender. Some of the aftermarket ones are designed differently and don't have that potential issue. Example:
