VIN Tracking?

I am looking at used Mavericks online and I want the FX4 package. I have seen a couple that claim FX4 lineage, but no stickers. Also, thanks to the aftermarket, just because there are FX4 stickers does not mean that there is an FX4 package installed.
What are the VIN indicators for the FX4?
Are there FX4 VIN indicators?
Is there a VIN catalog somewhere online that may resolve this quandry?

There's nothing in the VIN that indicates package options such as FX4.

Your best indicators are probably the FX4 wheels, the tow hooks and the skid plates. There's no way to mount the factory tow hooks on anything but a FX4 or Tremor.

Look up the window stickers online with the VIN, if available. What I have found is that once the vehicle is reported totaled that the window sticker has "not been issued"
