Vibrating when turning, unsure as to cause

If that groaning noise is originating in the rear when turning then that usually is indicative of a bad RDU unit. Your rear brake if I had to guess is a sticky caliper. The first and most obvious to check visually is the brake clip on the outside of the caliper. Next is the caliper slide pins being either worn or dirty.

I have experienced a sticky caliper and this isn't it. It's a sudden reduced brake power level, like about 25% and it's a thud from the rear. It still groans while turning after ripping me a new butt for an $853 axle shaft for a torn boot leaking.

Sticking caliper does one of two things. Sticks open not breaking or sticks shut not releasing. It can free at any time under pressure if stuck and cause increased braking, not sudden reduced braking. I think it's a glitch in the electronic brake booster circuit for the rear. Just my two cents.
