Upstate NY Maverick meet up

On LI, we believe upstate NY starts at Yonkers.

Pretty much... anything north of NYC is 'Upstate' (see my username, "true" Central NY)

I've seen a few in Syracuse area - and at least two of them were Lariats (could tell by the DRLs). One was another HPR!

Maybe I can go to a owner meet up next year. Ordered mine last weekend.
I consider myself in Central NY living in Rome. So hopefully there's a meet up next year at some point.

I've only seen 1 Maverick in the wild on the road in New Hartford and the other was at my dealer in Clay when I was leaving after placing my order.

Once you get your Mav you will see them all over the place. I swear i went a few miles from my house and i saw 5. None in the Alto color but...

Yes, anything north of NYC is "upstate". The Finger Lakes is another matter. Basically, anything between Rochester and Syracuse is the Finger Lakes region. I was born and raised in Geneva which is in the center of this region on the north shore of Seneca Lake. I have lived in Texas, however, since 1975. I miss the Finger Lakes - so beautiful - and I visit my childhood friends there often but the winters are just too much.

Very excited. I'm also seeing more and more of them around Utica/Rome.

I think of my region as Central NY. I'm right in the middle of NY. Upstate can be anywhere north of NYC it seems.

I am thinking we should get a few mavericks to meet at the finger lakes welcome center in Geneva NY. Saturday April 22nd 2023 at 10am -11:30am. If at least 3 people respond, its on! I would love to see any maverick accessories and camping builds.

I recall many years ago launching boats from that location. The Lake Trout Derby of the world is held there every Memorial Day.

Well, went to my dealer yesterday to do the financing and paperwork. They tracked the wrong vehicle. After telling me my truck would be here around 4/17, it will be here late this week now.

Hopefully there another meet up sometime this year.

I haven't checked this forum in a while and missed this, how'd it go? That's almost 2 hours from me but if I had known ahead of time I might have tried for it. Storm coming through right now with possible hail, hope everyone can get to cover!
