Well, it cracks me up a bit, but I decided to swap my 2022 Maverick (54,000 miles) - one I ordered the first day of production in September 2021 and eventually was delivered in October 2022 - for a 2024. The funny part is I bought the exact same truck, besides few changes Ford made between the model years, oh, and it also came with a hard rollup tonneau which I much prefer to the soft fold on the 2022. I'm sure that no one will even notice the truck is new.
I was riding in it today and I'm glad to say all of the stupid things that irritated me a bit in the first Maverick are still in the new one. The B&O speaker cover on the dash fits poorly, the rattle deep in the dash is still there, the wiring above the headliner still clicks & clacks as it bounces around and the hood deflects an impressive amount in the car wash.
I still love this little truck. Can't say enough good things. Drove the crap out of the 2022 - all over Michigan, to Florida and to Maine. Very comfortable, practical size and great gas mileage.
