Under review order status

I called my dealer today and he told me that my order status is "Under review" I placed my order on June 11th. I ordered the XLT with the XLT luxury package. He said he should know more this weekend but I was curious if anyone has seen/knows what that means.

I called my dealer today and he told me that my order status is "Under review" I placed my order on June 11th. I ordered the XLT with the XLT luxury package. He said he should know more this weekend but I was curious if anyone has seen/knows what that means.

I believe, based on what I've read about orders and production, that it means Ford is reviewing your order to make sure they have everything necessary to manufacture your Maverick. I would imagine that if I'm correct in this that others will be receiving a similar notice to, provided they order the same as you did around the same date. If 'green lighted" you should be receiving a VIN and then an actual production date.

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense, that under review process means Ford is determining if they have all the parts for the add ons I have.

hopefully the timeline is true and I should know more within the next few days.
