I found a Maple seed caught in the rocker.
There is a company that manufacturers a grill to prevent debris from draining into the rockers.
My issue with the grill is the size of the holes.
The Tamarack trees shed tiny needles that would easily pass through the holes in the grill.
My solution is to roll up some HVAC filter element and stuff them between the drain trough and the inner fender.
It seems to be working so far.

That's a clever solution using HVAC filter material. I might try that myself since I deal with similar small debris issues, though I'd be curious if anyone has concerns about the filter restricting water drainage during heavy rain.

The water passes through easily and the filter element dries quickly.
