Took about an hour of fumbling around & guestimating but it came out near perfect. Closes pretty tight, not water proof through the touch less car wash which is to be expected, fumbled with the brackets & didn’t insert the rails properly in the rail head near the bulkhead at first lol. I did not use the included rubber seal that would go on the bulkhead behind the window. That area is level enough with the side of the bed.

I do like the branding on this cover too. It’s very subtle. I do have the cargo tracks inside the bed and there’s absolutely no interference with them. I do have the four brackets that hold down the rails more towards the tailgate past the rails and pretty close up to the front about 6 inches from the bulkhead.

I can post dimensions of my install around the bed if wanted post more detailed pictures.

I had the hard rollup from Ford on my old Maverick but didn’t want to drop 1K plus this time. Plus the felt fell off after a year or so. I understand their engineer differently now & not using felt.

Only thing with this type of cover is that if I wanna put a rack system in, I’ll have to get a inside track cover, like the hard rollup.

Anyways for the price & little bit of labor, I’d give it a 9 out of ten for the initial install & fit/finish.

Looks good. I have the tri fold and after almost a year and a half it is holding up well.

I did use the foam across the front and put a dab of silicon in the little groove on the top of the side rails. Also weather stripping across the bottom of the bed in the back to seal the bottom of the tail gate. I get very little water coming in the bed.
