In June I drove out to San Diego from Delaware. Uneventful except for the amount of driving involved. I averaged 35.5 mpg over the 4 days. I believe that was due to the speed (70+ the whole way) and the mountains and heat. But the truck handled great with the CoPilot 360 doing most of the driving. My brother flew out from NH so he could drive back with me. He had never driven cross-country before. We only took 3 days driving back. A few days later I drove from DE to NH at a more reasonable 60-65 mph and got 40+ mpg. So I put 7,000 mile on my Maverick in 1 month. Got an oil change before I left for CA and another when I got back from NH. Now my wife says I can't go anywhere for a while. Love my Maverick.

Did you like CA?

I believe most people who have a Maverick truck are enjoying it. The problem with the truck is the number of issues it has had. Some people have had no issues while others have had numerous issues.

People are frustrated with Ford, because they have ordered the truck and have no idea when it will arrive. Ford doesn’t communicate very well with the consumer.

If Apple can put out a new product and have very little problem with it, so should Ford be able to do this. There are very few good reasons why Ford has forgotten to communicate with there customers.

Please don't compare a truck to software or hardware put out by Apple. Apple has had its flaws and mistakes too. My truck runs great.
I do agree that Ford could do a much better job communicating with its customers.
