Please don't compare a truck to software or hardware put out by Apple. Apple has had its flaws and mistakes too. My truck runs great. I do agree that Ford could do a much better job communicating with its customers.

I've noticed this and mentioned it to my dealer. Of course, they found nothing wrong! Nice that Ford finally owned this problem. I'll make sure the dealer corrects the problem next time I get an oil change.

I just drove cross country - Delaware to San Diego and back. It was uncomfortable in the cab because of the hot sun. So once I replace the windshield (got a crack driving across) I am going to have the UV protection added to the windshield and front doors.

It's pretty awful when the dealer says "Well Ford did this...". That is a real copout and the dealer should stand up for their customers. I hope you can enjoy your Maverick anyway.

I have a Blue Hybrid Maberick and I love it. No problem finding it in a big parking lot.

I bought the lifetime oil change pkg from my dealer - 4x a year. Not sure what it cost but it's a bargain compared to $180.

Sorry to hear that but glad you weren't hurt worse. Just order a new Maverick. Maybe your dealer will take pity on you and push you up in line. Good luck. Watch out for women drivers!

Tell them to wait and see. I have had a dozen vehicles in my life and my Maverick beats them all! It is definitely worth the wait. I ordered my Maverick in June 2022 and got it in February 2022 - 8 months.
