Took the hybrid south from Portland,Me. to Philadelphia,PA. and was amazed at the comfortable ride. Has more room for tall people than the Escape we had. 44.7 mpg! The rest of the trip took in Roanoke Rapids,NC; Lancaster,PA. and back home. Total trip was just under 2000 miles with final mpg as 45.2. The electric drive comes in handy with construction wait times. Very impressed! No problems what so ever.

Glad to hear of your successful trip. KEEP ON TRUCKING. I find my Maverick very comfortable and fun to drive as well. Not as successful on the highway took mine on a 300 mile mostly highway trip cost me .6 loss total MPG from start. Only averaged 33 MPG on that tank hand calculated at pump, from beginning of ownership 4100 miles 38.4 MPG and best tank 43.8 MPG. I use fuelly to keep track, I seem to be pretty average, Fuelly show 37.3 MPG on 1.1 million miles average.

Each time I take a trip in my hybrid, I like it more and more. Just looked yesterday when I filled up and have averaged 41.8 since day one. I keep Trip 2 as is and have never reset it. Most of my driving is highway - probably 75% or more since it is hard to do city driving when you live in small town with 3 redlights.

Glad you are impressed with your Maverick like we all are. Great little trucks.
