Happy New Year.

Everything you wrote is correct. …. and it may actually get worse in the short term. There is going to be news that the Mach E is stopping production due to a whole new round of COVID lockdowns in China (and Ford even stating some of its execs are stuck in China).

I have two Mavericks on order and registered for a Lightning. (Really want the electric truck)

Ford’s production woes are so bad and their dealer network so unpredictable that the opening of Tesla’s Texas factory next week might end up being the path to the efficient truck I want. If so, adios Ford! (after buying two Rangers, three F150’s and being a stockholder for 20 years)

I don’t want to hear any whining that Tesla or BYD put Ford out of business. They did this to themselves by outsourcing everything to China and Mexico.
I ordered mine in October. Friendly Ford in Vegas says they are not going to get any due to a chip shortage. Yet I see other folks around the country are getting them. So either Ford or my dealership is having a whole lot of issues.

I am from Nebraska and strongly recommend you call Long McArthur Ford in Salina Kansas (@fordvideoguy) They can’t take orders for Hybrids until August but maybe they will put your name on a list to order. They have been taking care of people really well. Take the stress out of it and deal with them. Nebraska is full of bad dealers.

The destination charges is $1,495 and acquisition fees of $695. As stated above you can’t do anything about the $1,495. The acquisition fee is a lease fee. If you buy it you won’t pay that fee.
Granger Ford $3000 off MSRP $100 deposit gets it done EcoBoost only
