My wife tried to clip the tri-fold tonneau (Ford) with the plastic clips. One snapped and I noticed the bumps stops are missing. She brought it to the dealer (they installed it) and said a complete replacement tonneau will need to be ordered just to replace the plastic clip. I think the installer just forgot to stick the bumps stops in place. Sad how "parts" can't be ordered.

I believe but not certain that the Ford cover is a BAK MX4, and they state that their new direct covers have replaceable clips for that very reason, I know the one I installed last week does.

Just got my truck today and had the dealership install the tri-fold tonneau cover on it. I will have to be careful with the clips. The bump stops you're talking about are they the ones by the rear window on the tonneau cover?

The issue is they have NO idea WHEN they can get a clip. But they CAN order an entirely NEW tonneau and use a clip off of it. This lack of supply crap is killing many businesses.
