Does anyone know how to track this railway. I assume it will switch to one of the main companies at the US border? I am not familiar. Any help would be appreciated.

Using the Union Pacific tracking info worked best for me. What's your Railcar alphabetical prefix? Usually it's the US carrier's prefix. Mine was BNSF from day 1 in Mexico, even though it was traveling on the Mexican owned rail.

Using the Union Pacific tracking info worked best for me. What's your Railcar alphabetical prefix? Usually it's the US carrier's prefix. Mine was BNSF from day 1 in Mexico, even though it was traveling on the Mexican owned rail.
Mine is TTGX

Yeah, track with UP tracking and you will be fine.

Although some have better luck with the other rail company trackers. They all seem to have each others data. Just saying.

"First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849

5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked."

Also, if you want to post or message me your entire railcar number, I'm happy to give it a shot. I got to be pretty well versed in all of them after fighting the systems trying to track mine. Haha. Occasionally I am even able to get them to fax me a written status update (thru the automated system, not by talking to a human). About 50% success with that. Sometimes seeing it in writing makes more sense than hearing a robot lady trying to read it "text to speech" style.

I was notified my truck shipped yesterday and my rail number is also TTGX and Ferrocarril. I called all three carriers and UP said arriving in Laredo,TX on Dec 22? Not sure if that is correct or not. When I called CSX they gave me a past shipment from April. I am in NE Ohio so we will see how long it takes I have an ETA of 1/8-1/14.

Thats awesome! Plus you got a Hybrid, like winning the lottery! I would imagine it would ship soon from what I have seen in the forms lately it seems there haven’t been too many major delays…

I got mine from Ford chat they give you the rail number, but not who the specific rail line is.

Mine was also built 12/14, and I received a "shipped" email early this morning. Where does the rail info come from?
You have to ask your dealer, Ford Chat, or call in to Ford and ask. It is in one of the status fields in their system.

It’s super easy. I got my railcar number from ford chat. I call the hotline every day. Press 2 twice and enter your numbers. My 23MY has been slowly traveling Kansas and made it to Missouri yesterday. Hopefully now heading south to Florida for delivery. Eta is Dec 16-1st. It shipped 12/12. Poor thing probably got snowed on before it’s Florida life.
