How much rain gets in? Car washes I am not concerned about because I don't go to them. Any pressurized water shot at the seal will get in. The main concern is does it get under the seals along the rails? The Worksport leaked along the entire rail except at the 4 clamp points on the truck because it was too light to compress the seals to actually seal.

I was meticulous when installing the gasket that came with the cover and wondered if it would leak. I haven't really noticed any leaked water.

I chose an inexpensive soft rollup cover because rarely will I need to roll it up to access the front of the bet because I am fabricating a cheap slide out.

I went cheap just because I'm cheap hehe. It worked out in the end for the same reason you want a roll up one. I found a way to put a roof top tent in my bed and I need that tonneau cover to be out of the way to set it up

Not sure where to post this, so I'll just put it here:

Just installed a rollup tonneau and a silly question occurred to me: if the cover is rolled up let's say half way, is there any risk of the cover rolling back on its own toward the tailgate when zipping down a freeway at 80 mph? Just wondering if the Velcro is strong enough to stay in place.
