I ordered my Maverick in June 2021. Of my 51 years on this planet I have NEVER bought a brand new car or truck. Never. I think it's about damn time I did this for myself. I knew I was going to get one as my dream of owning an original maverick to restore is not exactly something realistic for me. I have been tracking, waiting, tracking, waiting patiently, waiting not so patiently, fretting, researching and reading anything and everything I can about this truck. I've been lurking in the rafters at any information this forum has given me, so a big thank you. It was nice to know I wasn't alone in my epic adventure.

It's been so long when I finally got the call I couldn't believe it was real.

I ordered a Lariat First Edition with the 360 copilot, spray in bed liner, moon roof, power everything in carbonized grey. I haven't seen it yet or even driven one, but its is already financed and paid for by my credit union. I pick it up tomorrow. I gave everyone here at work chocolate in lieu of cigars as this is very much going to be another baby for me. I'm giddy with excitement. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.

I hope to update this post with pictures later on this week.

Congratulations! Must be a great feeling. Please share some pictures when you get the vehicle in. Do you have a name for him/her/it yet?

I'm supposed to get the call any day now on my own truck. Delivery ETA was supposed to be 3-23 to 3-29.... it's 3-28 today so that means I get my truck tomorrow... right? ...right? ...right?

I wouldn't worry about the drive to the colonoscopy, its the ... Its the... The hours after food is ingested that you have to worry about. Be sure he wears easy off pants.

Well. I got her. She is gorgeous. I'm in love. I only have pictures taken from the outside right now because the sun was about to go down and mother nature decided it needed to be in the 40's. Guy at the dealership had it out front on display and said that this by far has been the best looking one they have received. He had many people stop and look at it, and a few who wanted to buy it. She is all mine. No name yet but I have a few ideas.

Oh and the lettering I got that off of Etsy a few months back just waiting to be attached. It was a custom order with dog paw prints and bones. It makes the Maverick stick out. My husband was like you ain't had the thing 4 hours and you are already mod'ing it. Thinking about the Forscan but not 100% sold on it yet. I really just want to change the display like I could on my Escape. What do you guys thing?
