Just to throw in a wildcard, have you considered the Maxxis Razr ATs? Aggressive tread pattern, 3PMSF rated, good on-road manners, and clock in at 34lbs for 245/65R17.

Had not seen these, but damn those look good! Price point is excellent as well. Definitely going to look into these, thanks!

Depends on what you consider as fitting…

it looks like someone has put one there, but it went on top of the “shark teeth” that were made to pop the spare during a reared crash

You'll know you're riding on ATs but it's not obnoxious and what is audible, I don't mind at all.

Maxxis Bighorns come in 245/70 or 255/65 for around $250 and weigh a svelt 43-45lbs.
They will get you out of anywhere the Maverick can get you!

I think I am gunna swoop a set of those maxxis razr ATs; the 168 price at Walmart is hard to beat, and all the reviews I've read have praised them. Those bighorns do look pretty beastly though!
