Just watched the 40 min video; an amazing vehicle; BUT: it is more of a time machine than a truck. It is too expensive, too ugly, and just too fast. At $1116K for the beast with extra battery it is not Maverick competition. And not likely competition in the std truck market. There is a reason why most people do not buy square plates and cubical wine glasses. I would not buy the cyber truck any more than a Rolls. The difference between a model T and the Mav is about the same as the difference between the Mav and the cyber. Was wondering how many Mav batterys could be made for the cost of just a cyber one. Would also expect the carbon footprint for the build of a cyber truck not to be offset before 500,000 miles of driving. Just another toy for the rich' who typically have more $$ than brains. Maybe I am just way too old to appreciate the cyber truck.

It was never Maverick competition to begin with. I would rather have a Rivian than a Cybertruck. Still no word on whether they kept the tailgate ramp. I'm guessing not. Most EVs are tailored toward the rich, it's got nothing to do with brains. If you can easily afford something, then it's like buying a toy. The people who like the Cybertruck are allowed to like it. Doesn't bother me.

Some random journalist compares a Mav to a CT simply because they both are unibody construction and all reality goes whoosh.
