I just replaced my air filter & have a slight gap where the filter is visible where it meets the lid…passenger side just below the MAF sensor.
Pink colored FoMoCo filter…

Would someone check their 25/26 EB to see if this normal/correct?

Appreciate any feedback!

Ps…is the writing on your MAF sensor upside down like mine? :)

Mine looks identical, maybe it is a quick way for quality control to check that a filter was installed?

Thank you for confirming - appreciate it!

I could not see but felt the filter “exposed” on the other side too. You’re right I think - meant to be able to check if the air box is “loaded” without opening.

Here is what my 1800mi / 11mo filter looked like…not too dirty but still going to replace every year. I live in a “dusty chaps” town:)

Did not check my cabin air filter oops - it is probably very dusty!
On my “to-do” list for later - thanks for the reminder:)

AC on constantly from purchase in June through mid November. Have yet to use my heater. Will test my heater after cleaning my cabin air filter!
