The Mav XL I got for GF arrived late last Friday (earlier than expected by a few days).

Went down to Ford Store / Morgan Hill CA. Relaxed & filled out papers while staff did
inspection & wash, etc. Took a quick 'validation' test drive around the dlrship and was
impressed - quite comfortable ride and I fit as nicely in the Mav as I did in my former
Challenger (I''m 6'5"/250 - got rid of Chally as too hard to drop down & enter due to
lower back issues - but the Mav is not as low nor has as low of a roofline, etc.)

Our sales guy was really nice (he got us seat time in mid August with a factory demo
truck). No price change drama on paperwork that I've heard w other dealers. Helped
GF set up her phone w screen, etc. She loved the drive home.

I spent about 30 min today (looking for a car wash/wax place that was not lined up)
drivng around San Jose area - mix of streets/expressways and a bit of freeway.
- quiet enough for me even when stepping on it. (stereo speed compensated volume ON)
- nice responsiveness/fast pick up
- no shakes/rattles - no hood issue
- alignment fine (some other forum members may have had issues??)
- took a bit to discover where the gas door latch button is ;-)
- stereo sounds fine - classical music over USB from my phone
- drove various modes - in ECO occ I can feel eng startup transition,
didn't sense it in other modes
- good visibility

Did not test CoPilot360 features (she wanted it, it's her car).

Had pre-ordered Weathertech front mats - dropped in, snapped in zero issue, fit perfectly.

Just zipping around San Jose (and Fri drive home from Morgan Hill) in mix of traffic before switching to ECO mode was 39mpg.

I have not yet popped open the hood to check for anything loose, etc (but doubt it).

Before we left dealership on Friday I checked all over for paint flaws etc - none!
All body panels aligned OK, no gap variations, no poorly-hung doors, etc.
No interior flaws I could detect.

Coming up ... cheap seat covers, steering wheel cover, and add cruise control.
Also - upgrade from steelie wheels when pricing/timing is right.

Great truck, great value. Happy! Ford batted this outta the park - and I saw no reason for an XLT or Lariat for our purposes - the basic XL is fine (other than cruise control lack).
