SUPER confused

ok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed. WTF ford this is the 4th time it was pushed back. they need to get there Sh*t together dude. don't tell me its going down the line and then say JK its back to order processing. Anyone else this happen to ? Did this get pulled off the line ?

Happened to me yesterday. I was originally June 6th date and have been in and out of production 4 times and now chat told me today it’s scheduled for next week.

I got a window sticker last week and even had modules populated over the weekend. Now somehow no longer in production.

I have been in production numerous times, pulled and delayed for months. First time it went into production was back in June. I have had a window sticker and VIN since then and still not built.

Mine did some weird stuff too flip-flopping between statuses toward the end of the build before it got shipped. I wouldn't stress it too much.

Yep same thing for me. Just hoping its a glitch and it is moving down the assembly line as we speak. I've been pushed like 6 times so really hoping no more delays!!!!!!

Yeah I’ve had a window sticker since July 6 and then it’s rebilled the sticker 2-3 times so it’s been fun

“In production” just means it was sent to the factory, for them to schedule in. Which means pick a blend number (i.e. your place in the assembly line). “In production” doesn’t mean it is going down the line yet. It’s just as much detail as CS knows, until Built.

Mine went into production, but before it went down the line they did an unplanned shutdown for a week. Which pushed the build out a week.

Basically, we are next in line for the factory, then some part thing happens. Usually, means a supplier didn’t deliver as they promised. Which results in pushing some or all builds out, depending on the part. How long depends on when the supplier will do their delivery.

Gotcha thank you for replies I just find it odd having a window sticker and a vin and an invoice it would be going down the line LOL ... I have some thoughts about ford but I don't wanna switch brands hahahah. After this hurdle I don't even want to THINK about what shipping will be like ! anyone have experience with one being shipped on rail to the Chicago land area ?

I don't have personal experience but my dealer suggests, and empirical evidence supports, that it takes 6-8 weeks to get to wherever it's going after it's actually built.
