Hello all. I'm experiencing my first issue with my Maverick and it involves the sunroof/moonroof. About a month ago, the sunroof used to stop about halfway through closing (it would open fully) and wouldn't close unless I messed with it and what I guess are the guides. It was acting like it was 'bumping' the guides that kind fold and move with it & would auto stop. This would happen intermittently.
Now it goes just a short amount, stops, sounds like their is a grinding noise and I have to help close it along by pushing on it forward and the depressing the cloth wind buffer thing. I'm not sure if I'm even helping it along in either case; it seems to close eventually but also makes noise.
I live in south Florida so I don't thinks its a temperature issue. I did notice what looked like to be an amber looking 'globs' in the front area that is between the roof and interior roof when peeking up into the area when the sunroof was retracted a little bit. I'll try to get a picture as it is hard to explain.
