@LarryBud , watch the YT videos by@fordvideoguy. Select the Long McArthur channel and absorb the wealth of information Tim provides on how to order from Salina, KS, be a priority 10, receive a 1000 dollar courtesy shipping credit, have a co signed buyer's order, and the piece of mind you'll get your truck as advertised.

A benefit of communicating with the largest Maverick dealer in the Kansas City region is the opportunity to purchase unclaimed retail orders. It's a 9:1 ratio which is one more maverick than most other dealers have on a weekly basis.

LM, received 71 Mavs in March. Over the past few months they've averaged one per calendar day.

Are you here to window shop or become familiar with the dealers, orders, ADM's and games people play?

First of what I hope to be many post here. For many reasons of which you already know, I think a Maverick is the truck for me.

I will be retiring in January of 2023. I would like to have a Maverick around that time.

I've only bought one new vehicle in my life which was a 1995 Chevy Silverado so I'm not familiar with dealers, orders, markups and all the games. I must admit, this whole thing is confusing and intimidating. I stopped by the local dealer and they said come back in August and we'll see what we can do. I see them almost new on the used market for $15K over sticker.

Any suggestions on how to get in line and pay near sticker with my timeline? Perhaps snag a 2022 order that goes unclaimed?

Thanks in advance.
We ordered 2 trucks two different dealerships one eco boost one hybrid both trucks will be at no up charge but of course takes a while for the ordered trucks to you

My opinion and experience…I had a great buying experience
Order early, waiting is not beneficial
Find a good dealer that
1. Knows the process
2. Doesn’t play games and will honor the DORA price
3. Has a decent allotment from Ford. This is HUGE
4. Some dealers offer under dealer cost/MSRP. It is in your best interest to shop.
I drove 3 hours round trip to get mine. Your local dealer isn’t always your best option.
Read this forum. Know more about the process and the vehicle than the salesperson does.

You will need to get a buyer's order signed by a manager or the owner. Don't rely on anything verbal, emails. texts, quotes, etc. Get the signed buyer's order to really know what you are buying and for how much.
