Thanks. I'm guessing it will take 4-6 months to clear out the 22 backlogs ( assuming the dealers give them priority ). Then, I will have my place in line for the new 23 orders.
I'm counting on 6-12 months but who knows?
I have a new 23 order in ( placed Friday ). Hybrid XLT, Lux Package, remote start and both floor mats. No other options.
I asked if I could get a priority code and my salesman was noncommittal. Said the boss sets the codes so I'm guessing it will be a 19.
Predictions on when / if it may...
I physically walked into Granger Ford about a month ago. At that time they were getting 15 Mavs a month and had Aprox 300 on order.
Not sure they have the bandwidth. Am I wrong?
Like many here, I'm planning on placing an order when the 2023 window opens in August. If I have it correct, I will build my truck on the ford site, then bring my build to a Ford Dealer of my choosing. Dealers with a large order history will be allocated more trucks... but some will have mark...
That's a good suggestion. I'd hate to pick up a sharp off the road ( seems like tires are almost never repairable these days ) and be out a $800-1000, or whatever, for a new set of four.
I had it happen on my company car.
Thanks all. I guess " significantly worn " is the key here and open for some interpretation.
To the tire shop I was working with on the Escape, that means alway replace them 4 at a time. However, I can see where they may have a motive to take that stance.
I've had a couple of AWD Escapes as company vehicles.
I've damaged a tire in the past which was deemed to be unrepairable due to picking up a nail close to the sidewall. All 4 tiers needed to be replaced to comply with the AWD Feature requirements. I remember thinking I was glad I didn't...
Thanks all. I called one of the big Ford Dealers here in town. They had a used XL with 2000 miles on it for $45,000. I asked about a crack at a 2022 should whoever ordered it back out and the sales person said that it does happen but expect to $12-15K over MSRP.
Looks like I'm waiting till...
Thanks Blue Snake,
Question: If I order a 2023 off of the Ford site and go with a dealer that doesn't have " Market Adjustment " in August, should I expect to pay MRSP? I don't like the idea of paying sticker plus, $5K.
The reasonable cost is a key selling feature. May as well buy a F-150...
First of what I hope to be many post here. For many reasons of which you already know, I think a Maverick is the truck for me.
I will be retiring in January of 2023. I would like to have a Maverick around that time.
I've only bought one new vehicle in my life which was a 1995 Chevy Silverado...
