Stop Android Auto from starting automatically.

Hi I am running android auto in my 22 Lariat ecoboost with a Motorola wireless dongle. I would like to stop it from starting every time I start the truck. Under settings it says "set by vehicle default" Is there a truck setting somewhere that can change this behavior? Thanks

You change that setting in the Android Auto app on your phone. Set to If used on last drive, and toggle Start music automatically to off.

Issue is when I go to that page it says set by vehicle.

Just select the bubble next to If used on last drive. It's your choice as long as the option is not greyed out.

I never did try that. But now I will try that. Thinking pull the dongle drive it. Check the box last drive. Then plug the dongle in see what happens. Another poster said pull the dongle which I know would work but would rather not. Thought there may have been a setting in the car somewhere.

There Is a setting on the truck for this, at least on Sync 3.
Settings/Android Auto/Select your phone then uncheck "Show on Connection."

Android auto won't start unless you select it, at least on mine.

What said, but with more pictures. Since without pictures, it didn't happen. Pictures, always more pictures. My ALWAYS I guess would be Auto, and NEVER would be Manually. FYI: MY24 Lariat Hybrid w/Sync 3.

I did try this and it works exactly like I want it too.
I was looking in the wrong settings page. Appreciate everyone's effort with all the pics!
