Placed our order June 24, got confirmation from Ford June 25. Have called dealer and Ford twice, can't get a straight answer. Dealer Sales Person (Malloy Ford) doesn't have a clue and although Ford Reps have been the most polite and "understanding", I feel I'm just being things to put my mind at ease. Dealer didn't want a down payment on reservation order, just a signature and copy of driver's license. We were told at the Dealers that 5he Manager said if something came up in the future and couldn't buy it once it's built, we have to buy it anyway and they'd buy it back at supposedly no cost to us in order to get it out of our names.

That may be a dealer way of saying they have to do paperwork to change it from a retail to stock order before they sell it to someone else. If you got your confirmation email from Ford with your name on it I wouldn't worry, you are in. Ford emails don't always work....I got a confirmation email then nothing for a long while. Never got a scheduled or VIN email, then got two "reschedule" emails. Just got my "Shipped" email today, so I think you are good. Good Luck!!
