Steering input and slope display gone. (winter fun)

Im curious about what the hive mind thinks about this issue. I got stuck in some nasty snow (didn't follow my own advise about snow tires) in the process of getting unstuck I did spin the wheels quite a bit while turning the steering wheel. I ended up getting towed out by my wife's Subaru. (talk about embarrassing) I now get "hill start assist warning" and "pre collision assist not available) and "service advancetrac" The truck runs and drives although driving modes are unavailable. The curious thing is the steering angle and slope display is blank. I'll be scheduling an appointment to bring it in on Monday but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this?
