I guess while we are going down this rabbit hole, I will offer this. When my wife and I went to see Oh Brother Where Art Thou I found myself unable to not sing along when “Show Me The Way To Go Home” by Bill Boyd’s Cowboy Wranglers played. It is a prominent tune in my favorite film (Jaws). My wife got mad at me for singing along until I showed her who else was doing the same (it was Tom Waites)….but this ain’t his song. Same movie though.

Hahahaha- if you imagine yourself wearing a hat of any kind that has an admirals chord…that is yacht rock. Basically most of the seventies that was not punk.
