Started a new thread that has a better/more descriptive title. But here is what I posted over there.....

Contacted the ForScan people and they sent me a developer/beta version of ForScan that has the 2025. If anyone wants me to email them the install file (EXE file), let me know.

So far I have been able to disable the turn signal outage detection (so I can use my LasFit LED bulbs). Confirmed no hyperflash once I edited those settings. Same method as described in the spreadsheet for the 2022-2024 model years.

But......

I tried to also disable the seatbelt warning screens, but got a checksum error and even when saying "do it anyway", the process fails/ends midway thru. A bit scary. So I did not press the issue. But I am hoping it gets figured out soon in an official ForScan release so I can disable the seatbelt screen. I am wondering if it needs to be in completely different fields, since the coding for 2022-2024 was to just 'Zero out" all the numbers and letters. Seems pretty simple and straightforward. But it seems on the 2025 it isn't as simple as just sticking all zeros into those fields.

I will take the beta file! I have my 25 now, and will have the 24 for another month or so still. So I'm going to practice on it, first. :)

Just curious what you 2025 Forscanners have learned thus far?

Seems about as easy as past years to mess with things. Which is a good thing. The only thing that I gave up on for now was disabling the 30-minute max idle on the hybrid. I tried a few combos of settings but did not get it to work. It takes forever to test since you have to wait 30 minutes to see if it kept running or not. Haha.

Has anyone been able to add the AWD screen and/or “Off-Road” screen to “My View”?

I briefly tried and was only able to get the Lobo mode. Does anyone have a photo of what the 2025 off-road screen looks like?

There's a 30-min max idle on/off option in vehicle settings, is that not it?

Correct. But the lazy side of me wants to make it so that I don't need to go in and slide that selector each time I start the truck. It resets to "turn off after 30" every time you turn on/off the truck, sort of like the drive mode defaulting back to "normal" each time you start the truck. In my tests, I was able to literally "grey out" that slider in the settings, but all that meant was that I was not able to even have the option to manually slide the slider to have it stay on past 30. The opposite of what I wanted. So I re-enabled the slider.

Where I am at now is that I get a warning on my dash at 29 minutes and 30 seconds that says something like "Unless you hit ok on this message in the next 30 seconds, the truck is turning off in 30 seconds". Even when I acknowledge that message....it still turns off. So I borked something somewhere.......

I will work on it more sometime. Probably when an official ForScan release comes out and I am not working with a beta version. The thing holding me back is needing to wait 30 minutes to test it after any change I make.

OH, wow, that one resets every time. You know, I finally read through the manual not too long ago and noticed there are quite a few options that don't reset when you change them. Of course, not the ones you want to.
