Sl(standard load) vs XL(extra load) tires?

upgrading from my 225/60/18 Michelin Primacy A/S tires to 245/45/20 tires for my new 20" wheels. I see a few with SL and some with XL to buy. The Primacy has a load of 100 load index(1784lbs) and the XL tires has a 103 load index(1929lbs) per tire. What did everyone go to with your 20" wheels? I guesss the 103 with be a little stiffer ride?

I think you'll get more specific input from others, but if you're intending to tow or haul a lot, I'd go with the higher load index. I think that most of the standard 17" and 18" tires that come from the factory are 104 index (1984 pounds).
