Siren speaker placement?

I’ve been trying to find the best location to mount a 100w siren speaker. I recently had a professional up fitting and the best location they could find was mounting it just to the left of the passenger side tow hook. Unfortunately most of the speaker ends up being covered by the bumper. Does anybody know where the fire departments that run mavericks end up putting theirs?

Pictures? I didn't think there was clearance between the plastic grille and louvers. Or were they removed?

I was thinking stage left.

Without external brackets or modifications to the truck there isn't much room elsewhere. The police/fire Mavs I'm finding online without the previous have no visible speakers so I'm assuming they are in the same place. The videos previewing the sirens seem to have good sound quality.


Sneak peak of an ongoing project: C3100 speakers mounted the same way. They fit behind the fog lights too. The winter put things on pause so haven't hooked things up yet.
