Seat covers best recommendations?

I used to do the same thing. I rigged up small bungy cords with spring clamps on the end to hold them in place. took them out on Friday and laundered them. If too soiled pitched them.

Actually, there's something close to that that exists on the shelf. The corner keepers for bedsheets or crib mattresses. I think you can find them in a Dollar Tree in the baby area. If you get them in the bedding area of a department store they want $10 or 15 for the same thing. They are short though, so depending on how far apart the ends of fabric is, you might be limited to corners.... or just use them for ends and tie a bit in the middle.

I like my "pleather" Lariat seats. Easy wipe off.

For those that aren't a Lariat baller, the 249 mabetts wipe off easily too. The cloth ones seem to catch everything and weren't easily cleaned.

I don’t think they are really Nappa. The grain looks too uniform. I hope they hold up.

Good eye! You can't get real leather for that price. The description says the material is "Faux NAPPA Leather, PU Faux Leather"

This is NOT a smart butt question. If you have the Lariat "pleather" like my 2024 does why would you buy vinyl seat covers? Is it just for the color? before I retired I had cloth seats in my last 4 vehicles and my work often led to me having oil, grease, anti seize etc. on my clothes. I covered the driver seat with bath towels, sometimes with a 55 gallon garbage bag over the seat then the towels. I kept old towels for this use or bought cheap ones and threw them away if oil got on them. Washed them for mild dirt weekly. Just curious as to why you would cover the Lariat seats, thanks.

I chose to cover the factory seats primarily to extend their life. I’m hoping to keep the vehicle for many years to come, and I do my best to keep it spotless. It’s my daily driver, not a work vehicle.

My previous vehicle’s leather seats had already become ripped and torn after only seven years. (Never buy Stellantis!). Lesson learned.

I have a young child. So, soda spills, food crumbs, feet on the seat backs, etc. all take their toll.

These covers looked virtually identical to the actual seats, so I opted for this style. No need to change color, as I’m black on black. It’s the blue paneling I wish I could change or cover.

Down the line, should I decide to remove the covers. I like knowing that my seats will still be in mint condition.

I have a 2024 XLT 2.0 eco-boost. I have some seat covers arriving tomorrow from cover craft. I will probably install them on Wednesday. I will post a picture and let you know about the fit and installation once I am complete.

I just put these on, and am quite impressed with the fit and design. They look nearly identical to my factory Lariat seats, fit like a glove, and they’re padded… so using them is even more comfortable than without.

My expectation is that they’ll last for many years.

Agreed, I have the same on my truck and honestly so many can't even tell they're covers and think they came from the factory that way ... they're VERY well fitting. And easy to clean/maintain, and hold up great!

The mabett ones have slips in the side for airbag deployment. They have tags on them where the holes are for the airbags so you put them on the right seat. I'll update with a picture shortly.

I just wanted something to keep the original XL seats protected, not an upgrade that costs hundreds. Kind of like my cheap mats that keep my carpet protected. Bought these on Amazon for only $21 and they’ve worked great for 2 1/2 years. Looked recently and they’re out of stock (probably a tariff casualty).
