I have a. Maverick Lariat with the Lux package and Co-pilot 360. I have looked in the owners manual before posting this and have not found a suitable explanation. My center screen goes black music and sound works. When I stop turn the ignition off it will come back on. Has anyone experienced this condition. Next is when driving with the adaptive cruise control I get a yellow announcement that something is being cancelled and the warning goes off and nothing is cancelled. Seems strange to me anyone experiencing these conditions

The yellow cancellation notice is probably the lane centering. If the shoulder markings are poor or crossing some intersections it loses track and will momentarily shut off.

The screen in my expedition does this occasionally. It did it more when it was new and there have been a few software updates and it is much more rare now. Occasionally, my phone won't connect and it requires turning it off then on to make it work.

You may need to update the software on the center console system. The latest version is 3.4 2119 or something like that. Here’s a link to see if your system is up to-date.

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

You can also check it directly on the truck system, but this can be done from your phone or computer.

Hello, Bryan! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this screen concern. Thanks!

Good morning! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your infotainment concerns on my end.

Exactly! You'll hear a "ding" sound, and the lane-centering icon will be yellow, and there will be a popup (which rather quickly goes away on its own) stating "Lane Centering disabled" (or very similar). Then 2-3 seconds later, you'll look down and it has re-engaged (icon is now green).

While this behavior was initially a bit disconcerting, I'm used to it now, and it doesn't bother me at all. Better to know it's turned off, than to think it's still keeping you centered in the lane when it's actually no longer working.

As for the blank screen, it sounds like a connector (likely internal) is loose. Definitely a dealer thing to repair / replace.

I stopped by the dealer yesterday afternoon and I have a appointment to do a software update. This issue goes back several years. The service writer printed out SSM 51285 the dealer has to update the PSCM software. This condition is from possibly multiple system issues. Take it in and get the software update.

I stopped by the dealer and they printed out a SSM 51385. The short form of the fix is PSCM software update for the cancellation notice. The blank screen will need to be investigated appointment made. Thanks

Thanks for the comments. Cancellation notice requires a software update. Blank screen needs investigation. I have a gut feeling if it isn’t blank when I take it in the comments will be can not duplicate.
