Saw the Maverick at a North Port Publix

Saw my first Maverick away from a dealer today , owner purchased this XLT from Englewood Ford, $4,000 over msrp and while doing paperwork said several others showed up to see it too.
glad I ordered mine and wouldn’t purchase any vehicle that is over msrp….

Funny, that's the exact Maverick I took my wife to see, feel and touch. It had 5k added to the sticker and I just can't understand why anyone would pay more that MSRP? I'm sure this is the truck you saw in North Port below. We did order our Maverick Hybrid based on how pleased we were with that truck in Englewood.

I saw one post which I might want to search for to see if I can find it again but they had mentioned buying a stock unit but being told they couldn't let him have it till they got a new stock unit in for people to try out. Which in a way makes sense as you really want something that people can look at and touch, etc... but Then I saw some people who definitely wouldn't want anyone else to test drive their truck. So I wonder if throwing a rediculous markup may serve two purposes.
