Retractable cover, anyone have experience?

Does anyone have experience with retractable bed covers? I’m looking for a cover With a rail system. I need to be able to carry some small ladders or materials and the bed will usually be full of tools. I’m looking to mount a set of cross bars or a rack/platform.

how was your experience? Also how big is that unit at the end in the front. They try pretty hard to hide it in the photos.

Do not have one but any I've seen in person chop off maybe 9 inches from the length of the bed., and a similar amount from the depth.

Hmm. Maybe it’s time to figure out the width of the individual panels of a solid folding. If I position things right I can still fold one up.
