Resetting trip odometer?

For me, the owner's manual isn't very clear about how to reset the tripometers. I'm trying to keep exacting records for fuel consumption, MPG, etc. in my 22 Lariat Hybrid. Any simple reset procedures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Pull up Trip 1 or Trip 2 on the instrument cluster LCD. When you switch to a Trip meter, it should prompt you with what to do - Hold OK to reset. Note that the prompt is only displayed on the larger screen on Lariat and XLT FX4. However, the simple procedure is the same.

Hold down OK on the right side of the steering wheel. It'll count down on screen and then release the OK button. This is to ensure you didn't accidentally press the button and reset it when you didn't intend to do so.
