Do any models come without the black B pillar trim? I'm curious because these accessory ones are stainless steel and it says "Black Platinum Finish"... so matte? Or glossy? Or somewhere in between lol. Such a vague description and there is only one thread on them where it states they don't fit properly. You'd have to center them as best as possible but it looks like there is a lot of room left around the edges. You can kind of see that in the picture even though it's computer generated image.

If anyone wants to be the pioneer with a keypad to remove theirs and see if there is a part number hidden on the other side for the stock ones, that would be cool. If they are cheap enough I have no problem being a pioneer for the Carbonized Grey crowd, but I suspect the keypad may be an issue.

I also like the black look but I'm part of the crowd that would like to see more colors remove them just to see what it looks like. These matte things are fingerprint collectors and the glossy ones I had previously on my Escape were scratched beyond belief in the first year and a half - but they did tie the window tint together nicely and it was only visible close up.

Hi, I’ve read that you can hit them with a hair dryer and just peel the factory black right off, the pillars are painted the same beautiful color as your truck, there is a video on you tube… enjoy

Glad somebody showed this since I’ve considered doing it to my truck.

Just as I suspected though, it breaks up the cohesiveness of the windows, especially if they’re tinted.

Looks more like a 1st gen Honda Ridgeline with them painted.

This is a bad thing.
