There’s not a discount for being a Maverick Truck Club member … It’s just that if you register as being a member of MTC, your registration counts toward our total number of registrations.

And if we get enough MTC registrations, we’ll get a free tent on the Maverick truck show field to gather in.

Which is a good thing …

They offered the 20% discount at certain times for really early registrants — last May, right after the 2023 event, through June 12.

And again from Thanksgiving through Jan. 2, over the holidays.

There is now a 10% discount for anyone registering by April 15. ($63 instead of $70).

*** But if you paid for $70 back in August, I’d ask them if they’ll give you a discount, since you did register so early. You should at least be able to get the $63 price.

As mentioned in the other thread, we'll be there again this year, but still without a Maverick; we're bringing Linda's Escape this year, which is registered under MTC. The Focus ST will be there again as well.

Wherever you can book! The Ford Nationals is a HUGE event, and area hotels book up early — some are already fully booked.

But if you can’t get a room in Carlisle, Harrisburg is less than 30 minutes away to the east — lots of hotels there. And many in Shippensburg area to the west, too. (university town.)

I haven't attended an event like this one in almost 3 decades (Did a 50th anniv SAAB fest in NewHampshire in the late 90s). Southern AZ to Southern PA is a solid 3 days (11 hours each day) each way... Don't know if my wife will go for it... We will see.

It is only 23 or so hours for me but I haven't done a trip like that in almost 2 decades. Maybe next year if I can plan a few stops along the way.

Back in 2000, I helped organize a meet in Detroit for Dakota RTs. We caravaned from Indy to Detroit, over 100 trucks.
