Recommended OBD II Scan Tool (reasonably priced)

I'm looking for a reasonably priced OBD II Scan Tool that will work on the Hybrid Maverick as well as a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD diesel. My Silverado has an issue with the thermostat, that every once in awhile activates the check engine light. The Chevy dealer clears the check engine light with a hand held OBD device. I was advised to prevent the engine light from coming on I would need to replace both thermostats, which would cost around $800. My temperature gauge indicates the temperature is good. Only have this issue when the outside temperature drops below freezing. Now that the cold weather is settling in, my engine light comes on sporadically. I want a OBD device that can clear the error code and turn off the check engine light. I plan on replacing my Silverado with my Maverick, that was ordered Oct 2021. It has since been rolled over into a 23MY. I'm hoping to get my Maverick the first of the new year. I don't want to put out $800 plus dollars for repairs and want a OBD II Scan Tool that can be used on the Hybrid Maverick. I went to Amazon to check out the devices and was totally overwhelmed by the number of devices available. I don't know if the Hybrid needs a special OBD Scan Tool, reason for asking for recommendations. I do need something that will clear the check engine light on my Silverado and will work on the Maverick. For those in the know, I sure would appreciate some recommendations. Thanks.

I use the following and OBD Fusion with an iPhone, and never needed more than the free version to clear codes. It should work on Android as well. *Edit, if you are an iPhone user, it is important to not be tempted by cheaper wireless OBD2 adapters, Apple has really stringent Bluetooth requirements, so most cheap ones are Bluetooth and cannot connect to your phone. This particular one uses WiFi.

Can't speak for a Chevy, but no issues using it with my previous Toyota.
