Rear windows lock

I tried searching..

I don’t have my Maverick yet. When you lock the rear windows on the driver’s side can the driver still control them from their position while still locked? My Ranger doesn’t do that. I have to unlock them to roll up or down. If I forget to lock them the dog stands on the switch and down they go.

I solved my problem on the Ranger by another forum member 3D printing inserts to cover the window button in the back. I hope the Maverick doesn’t have this problem.

Can confirm that when the lock feature is on the driver controls for the power windows all work.

I’m assuming rear as well. My Ranger fronts work but not the rear when locked.

Yes, all four windows functioned. I was a little surprised, had to go out to my Maverick and check, never had a vehicle that would do that before.

Thanks ice, my Ranger was my first vehicle to do what it does no other ones have done that! Different experiences for sure..

I have a Great Pyrenees who sits back there. I bought door trim panel protection covers after viewing it on another MTC thread. So far, no issues with him pushing the switch on either door.
