Rear bumper/light guard?

So, having been rear-ended twice before, I want to add some "protection", which will I think will also go well with the truck.

I want to add something like this for the front

But I was wondering... do they may something for the rear like that? I know nothing out for the Mav yet... but for the F150 or Ranger?

If you google "tail light guard" you'll get a hundred examples. I saw a lot on Amazon. Many are for Ram, Ford or GM existing full-size trucks, but I'm guessing if the company(s) don't yet make them for the new Maverick, they likely will very soon... (They are common for ATV's for off-roaders, but quite a few I see are for Jeeps and pickups, too.)

I had a Jeep Comanche truck some years ago and had left my rather large travel trailer hitch in the receiver. I was rear-ended at a stop light and I believe that more damage was done to my truck than would have been done if the lady had hit only my rear bumper. That big ol' hitch did do quite a bit of damage to her car though....LoL.

I like the black Bully bump steps on Amazon but as you said, I don’t think it’d work as it’s ~17” wide so would prob cover the license plate.

Not sure what measurement is from center of hitch to the first license plate letter. Maybe the 11.5” weathertech would work…or they Curt license plate holder hitch could double as aesthetics of centering the plate plus an obtrusive metal plate in the rear.

Where I live the CHP have them on the front of all their cars.
