Rear backup sensor

I have two issues with my 2023 lariet .
The sonsor doesn't sound off until I am within 2-3 feet of an object. Can that be adjusted ?

My wifes 2009 escape starts to chime at least 6to7 feet .
Is there any way to turn up the volume ?

No, and no.

I use my mirrors to back up and camera only if I need to get in that 2 to 3 foot range if closeness to an obstacle is necessary.

Me: '24 hybrid Lariat - my backup camera has yellow and red lines and beeps appropriately as the red lines show I am getting closer to the vehicle behind me, ending in a constant tone as the sensor determines I am at what the system consider "the limit". I think it works as designed. [Note - the 24 Lariat trim has Sync3 and is not affected by the camera freeze recall and sales hold like the XL and XLT trims with Sync2]
