Just wanted to send a quick Thank You to Alex from RealTruck.com. Just so that you all know, I am not being paid nor rewarded for this post in any manner by anyone. Just a thoroughly impressed and happy customer.

I reached out to Alex from RealTruck in this forum for some help with the EGR Slimline In-Channel Window Visors for my 2023 Ford Maverick. Not only was Alex able to get me a great deal on them, he made it painless to purchase through him and on top of that, I received the visors the very next day!

The email confirmation stated I would get them somewhere between 1/30 - 2/2, but no, I received them yesterday (1/26)!!!!

I installed them as soon as I got home and now my Mav is sitting at the house so that the rear visors would "cure" w/o me having the inclination to roll down the windows :D.

I will update this post (most likely tomorrow) with pics so that you all can see the product on the truck (I think they look Great by the way). They will for sure come in handy in the summer months here is So. Cal where we see triple digits for months in a row and will also some in super handy on the off chance we get some more rain.

I haven't placed my order yet, but Alex just beat the "street" price on a MX4 by over $200.

That's great! I also ordered EGR visors from Real truck, realized after that the forum discount might apply. I was told via email that only "certain categories" applied to the forum discount so they instead took only $5 off...would have been nice to get the "great deal" LOL

Mine came in Monday, got them installed yesterday. They're definitely going to keep water out, here's some pics of how they look. I don't like the view of the passenger mirror through the window, nor that the visor doesn't follow the curve of the window itself. Not a huge deal, I'll probably trim them down. They definitely increase the effective width of your A Pillar, limiting visibility just a bit.

Next concern, biggest: the thickness of these visors makes your window motors work VERY hard to fully close, you can hear the motor strain and release, takes multiple pulls for the last inch of closure. While fitting, the window refused to roll down, stuck with the visor. Pull visor away from vehicle and click, click, click, the window trigger until the window squeals itself out of the channel it was wedged into. I'll likely sand the width of the in-channel portion at various stretches, hopefully it'll keep tight when windows are down without binding the motors when rolling the windows when up.

I had a similar issue with the window being tight.

The window was coming back down or not coming down at all and I was getting DDM errors in Forscan.

Try a silicone spray in the channel before sanding. Fixed the issue for me.
