I purchased a Leer bed cover for my new 2026 Lariat that was installed by the dealership, and it leaks via gap between back of the cab and the front of the cover.

Is it supposed to do that or did the dealer forget to install some kind of seal?

Sorry to hear that. Maybe anonymously call the installer ask how much if any leakage is to be expected, you are “thinking” about a purchase. Ask for an installer, not a salesman, and get a name.

My Jason Trek is pretty darned tight. Nothing noticeable at all.

Did they lay down a strip of foam or rubber under the cover along the front of the bed? Or does the cover need to be moved forward a 1/4 inch or so? Get in the bed and anywhere you see daylight is where water comes in.
