I placed my order along with the $100 deposit from my local DEARBORN-based dealer back on 10/22/2021. I've had absolutely nothing from Ford about dates, delays, progress, or timing. No VIN and nothing to follow up on. I've called my salesperson a couple times and he assures me everything is fine and there are just delays with my order (chips, SIBL, etc.). I have a Priority code of 10. Is this common, or should I dig deeper?

What's your build info and did you get an order confirmation when they first made your order? If you have a Hybrid order, i would not expect a date soon. Though you can contact Ford customer service to make sure your order is placed if you don't trust your dealer. I use the chat on their website.

If you didn't get a confirmation it's possible the dealer didn't put your email, or put an incorrect email on your order. Also, Ford emails go to junk/spam about half the time for me.

It's a hybrid W8E0 w/ Lariat Luxury Package, Ford 360, soft fold tonneau, and SIBL. I did not notice my email on the form he gave me after the order, but I'll try the website and/or call Ford to verify everything is where it should be. I'm getting a bit nervous as I've heard people that ordered trucks just before mine have a lot more correspondence and even delivery, though I'm not sure if they were hybrids. Thanks!

Of your packages, hybrid, lux pack, 360 and sibl are constrained that I know of. Tonneau may be, too. Did you try calling ford directly?

Best of luck.

It took 7 months to get mine. Almost the same build. No cover

Plus they're not even scheduling October Hybrid orders yet, I'm sure definitely not October Hybrid orders with the Lariat Lux package. I think they're just starting to schedule September Hybrid orders.......Hang tight OP, it'll happen

You ordered a hybrid in October. Radio silence is not unexpected at this point. I ordered mid July. I’ll get my hybrid lariat in a week or so. It was radio silence until roughly January. Be patient is my best advice.

You have one of the most constrained builds you can make. I wouldn't expect to hear anything for a while. You could be rolled into FY23 model year. I know this isn't great news, but someone should just tell you straight.

If you can remove the bed cover, I recommend you do so. It probably won't help, but it could.

Edit - Did you get a hitch? I would add that too.

I also was in the same situation, although I ordered last July. I was worried because I wasn't getting emails or updates. My dealer assured me everything was fine, and it was! I got my truck on March 23rd...over 8 months after I ordered it.

I'm a bit concerned you didn't get a confirmation email. Though there are some dealers that put the dealer email on the order instead of the customer, then they notify the customer of any details.

Other than the confirmation email, I wouldn't have expected any other communication just because of when and what you ordered. There have been a few other generic emails that have gone out to customers that you may or may not have received.

I do not know if I would change anything about your order at this point.
Ford should have record of your order. Good luck!

Ha, I do. Apparently, I have the 'worst' order possible.

There have only been a few September hybrid orders scheduled so far. Those will probably start to be more common in April, and then maybe October orders will start getting scheduled in May for builds this summer.
