Radio settings aren't being maintained upon start-up

Lately, when I start the Mav up in the morning my previous Sirius station is not coming up automatically with the start-up, but defers to XM station 1 or an FM station. It has always started up with my previous station since I bought the Mav last fall. I know I haven't updated my SYNC 3 to the latest version but this has only come up in the last month. Many have had issues updating their SYNC and I'm not tech oriented to pull it off, but why am I having this issue now? Any suggestions?

I had the same issue last fall and the only way to fix was to install the SYNC update or have it installed. The issue also started randomly for me. One day it was working fine and the next day I started having issues and continued to have them until the dealership installed the SYNC update.

I’m having that problem now, too. I also lose the third page of my presets when I shut down, and have to go into the Sirius settings to turn it back on. My presets are saved. I need to get my recall done, so I’ll get that checked, too

I had same problem. I called Sirius and they reset my radio. Problem fixed

Had the same problem and after doing a system update (via usb) I had no problem with my presets being maintained

Same issue about a year or so ago. Was bad SYNC update. Needed to get revised version and then was ok.

Update: Ford Mobile tech came to my house today and installed the SYNC update for my '23 Hybrid Lariat Lux with a combination of his laptop and a USB drive. It appears to have taken care of my issue with it not starting up with the same SXM station that I had when I last turned the vehicle off.

The only issue after the update was an iPhone/Bluetooth issue. I received a call from a friend, his name showed up on the screen, but I couldn't connect with him by hitting the "accept call" button on the screen. I had to accept the call on my phone itself. During the call my Bluetooth did not connect and the radio kept on blasting. I had to answer the call the normal way with the phone itself. Puzzled, after the call, I went into the phone icon on the SYNC menu and hit 'download contacts'. It showed a buffering signal that never stopped going 'round and 'round. I shut everything off and did something else for a while. When I went back to the truck to delete and reinstall the phone, everything had downloaded and was working fine. I made a call using the vehicle's Bluetooth system and it was back to normal.

Success, I'd say. My dealer has a great mobile tech!
