I've been looking for similar issues for this on the forum and Google search but haven't run across any. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this and/or has the solution?
Bought a slightly used 2023 Maverick XLT 4 months ago from a dealer. The radio has an issue. When you go to make a outgoing call, pull up the contacts and a name, 9 times out of ten there are no numbers associated with the name to dial. You can go from one contact to another and they may or may not show up, but more often than not the numbers are not there. If you can find them in the recent calls list it will dial no problem, but the contact list is completely unreliable. I've called Ford support and taken it back to the dealer, they run an update, everything is fine for a few hours, then it goes back to misbehaving. FWIW the phone is a Google Pixel 6. It shows connected, you can disconnect and reconnect and like the update, it is fine for a bit then reverts back again. I also ran across a guy who knows someone at Ford that had a hand in these radios, and that there are known issues that need to be fixed but they were put into production anyway.

Welcome to having one of the lowest quality infotainment units in the industry. It apparently has little to no permanent memory. It seems to loose everything each time you turn off the vehicle. Yes, it remembers radio station presets and synced phones, but that seems to be it.

It has to re-scan the USB drive every time you re-start and if you are in the middle of a playlist and the song ends before the scan finishes, it stops and you have to re-select the playlist after the scan finishes, which is a pain in the arse if you are already driving.

Similarly, it seems to have to sync phone contacts and call history each time from scratch. It seems to happen quickly without issue if you are wired to the phone, but over bluetooth, it seems to take a long time, or not at all.
